Nordic Studio is our creative workshop – the place where every lamp begins its journey. Here, designers, technicians, and product developers work side by side to create lighting that unites Nordic aesthetics with modern functionality. In the studio, we develop our lamp series from scratch. Each series has its own design language and atmosphere – inspired by cities, nature, and the Nordic seasons. We don't work according to trends, but according to principles: calmness, simplicity, balance, and warmth.

How we develop a lamp
The process in Nordic Studio is both creative and technical – an interplay between intuition and craftsmanship.

Step 1
Inspiration & research
We dive into materials, colors, interior design trends, and Nordic cultural heritage.

Sketches & shaping
The first sketches are drawn by hand – often hundreds of variations before the shape feels right.

3D models and lighting studies
We test the spread of light, warm light versus cold light, shadows, and the reflection of materials.

Step 4
Prototypes with our partner factories
Here, ideas are turned into reality. They are tested, adjusted, and refined – often many times.

Quality assurance and details
Finish, material thicknesses, wire quality, joints, and statics are evaluated by our QC team.

Step 6
Final collection
When everything is in balance – shape, light, function, and feel – the lamp becomes part of our assortment.
